My journey started around 8 years ago when I met homeless man named Al. On that day, God planted a seed of compassion in my heart for people less fortunate than I was. As the seed continued to grow, I was given an opportunity to volunteer at a Thanksgiving soup kitchen in November of 2004. At that time, God gave me the vision to start this ministry. For years I prayed that God would use me and show me a place to serve, and through those years He continued to give me scripture and individuals that would encourage me. Among the many were Daniel 10:12 (confirmed that God heard my prayers), Nehemiah (God provided everything to build the walls of Jerusalem), Joshua 1:5 (I will not fail thee nor forsake thee), and Joshua 1:9 (Be strong and of good courage...).

I praise and thank God for His provision in my life. In June of 2005, I felt God leading me to close the doors of our family business and step out on faith to start His ministry through us. From that day on, it has been amazing to see God's hands at work.

God has given me a desire to reach people that are not being reached. They are a group of people that need to be shown love, mercy and the hope that you can only receive by accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. This mission is the medium as to which this goal can be accomplished. We want to be a light in a dark world, and exalt Jesus by meeting the physical needs of our guests.
